Little Black Kitten
When I was three years old, I was given a little black kitten.
His name was Shadow.
He was a gift for Christmas.
He had a collar made of bells.
My gran owned his little grey sister.
I loved him with all I had.
I didn't have tea parties with my toys: I had them with my cat.
When I was five years old, My black cat's sister had kittens.
I wasn't sure what to think of them.
When the time came, I got the little tortiseshell kitten.
Her name was Pepper.
She lived peacefully with her Uncle.
When I was ten years old, Shadow got in a fight.
He was left with a marshmallow sized dent in his back.
He was ok, though.
When I was almost eleven years old

I am too like precious stone
With every achievement I feel like a beacon
I beam with every grin and the weight is relieved
But I am far too fragile
Now, I have shattered
I struggle to pick up the remaining pieces

Enduring the Worst (G/t)
This was written as a gift for !SabrinaStockton (https://www.deviantart.com/sabrinastockton).
Her journal prompt that inspired me:
I need to see a g/t couple get into a big argument. Like, a huge one. Borderline fight. The kind that some couples break up over.
Because relationships are not all smiles and butterflies.
Because perfect couples don't exist.
Because I want them to make up in the end.
Because I need to know that true love endures.
Well, this is what I wrote for you. I hope you like it, though I'm kind of amateur with this type of writing. :) minor warning of themes, since one of the characters is drunk, but all characters are over 18 and if it bothers anybody, I c
We walk into a light
It draws us to what we
Love to indulge in
It soothes our mind
We hear the voice
But soothe the soul it does not
We are given love
We are fooled
It tears us
Falling into it
We are slowly falling
It deceives us
We love to fall
We have fallen
We are left in ruin
The light
It now blinds
The enemy arises
We reach out for more
What we had before
We want the remedy
It continues to ruin
It draws then drags
We have fallen
There is no remedy
A soul has been scarred
By a light
Perhaps not a light
A shadow
With purpose to murder
The reality was false
Blinded and ruined
We withdraw
We step into the balmy evening
Our feet in time with each other
You don't mind that I'm dancing like a fool
I can feel your side glance meet mine
We reach the sand
I can hear the crashing of the deep blue beast
Looking into the warm sunset the wind blows
Your fingers reach out and entangle with mine
You told me “friends forever”,
More like ‘friends for now’,
As your sweet promises
Were just lies I allowed.
You said “we are best friends”,
More like ‘friends at best’,
As your solid affirmations
Were all digressed.
You told me “I need you”
More like ‘you need me’
As your statements
Were my last plea.
Why did you go?
Why did you leave?
I’m left here all alone
Trying, in us, to believe.
How wonderful it feels
To fall back
Into the hands
Of the water below.
Unlike everyone else
Water envelops you,
Surrounds you.
Makes you feel light,
Weightless.
Falling downwards,
The only direction
You’ve ever known.
Your hair moves around you like
Seaweed on the ocean floor.
Swaying,
Moving,
Always stationed.
Bubbles that once
Had a home inside your lungs
Escape freely into the water.
And climb up higher
To the safety of the surface.
“This is what is left
Of my existence.
Little bubbles floating up,
Higher and higher,
While I sink,
Lower and lower”
And as you feel
The last bubble,
The last of your air,
Flow out of yo
How are you?
I am fine, thank you.
Stop lying…
How was your weekend?
It was great, tons of fun!
Besides the nights I spent crying….
Are you sure you’re okay?
Yeah, of course I am fine.
No I’m not I am in so much pain….
Can you imagine being alone?
No, that would be horrible!
